Wishlist Activity Trend

Follow the movement behind customer interest and wishlist-driven purchases over time-so patterns, turning points, and promising product moments are easier to spot.

Watch interest turn into action over time

The Wishlist Activity Trend gives you a time-based view of wishlist interest and attributed purchase activity. In GoScript Advanced Wishlist WordPress Plugin for WooCommerce, it makes the daily rhythm behind saved products more visible, helping you see when customers are discovering, considering, and buying the products they care about.

1. What the chart shows

The chart plots three related series across your selected period. You can focus on the one that best matches the question you are asking, or read them together for a fuller customer-journey view.

Wishlist AddsNew customer-product interest created in each reporting bucket, showing when fresh interest enters the store.
Wishlist PurchasesQualified wishlist purchase outcomes in each reporting bucket, showing when saved-product interest progresses into orders.
Customers ConvertedThe customer conversion activity associated with the selected reporting view, adding a useful people-focused layer to purchase movement.
Time bucketsMost periods use daily points. The Last 90 days view combines activity into three-day buckets to keep the chart clear and useful.

2. Choose a period that matches your question

Use a shorter view when you are checking a recent campaign, stock change, or product launch. Step back to a wider period when you want to understand a broader pattern in customer interest.

  • Today gives a quick, current pulse of new saves and purchase activity.
  • Last 7 days is useful for weekly merchandising reviews and recent campaign response.
  • Last 30 days helps reveal month-long demand patterns and steadier purchase progress.
  • Last 90 days helps you read a broader trading story while keeping the chart easy to scan through three-day points.

3. How to read a pattern in the chart

The most useful insights appear when you connect changes in the lines to real store activity: launches, collection updates, promotions, product availability, and customer behaviour.

  1. Start with Wishlist Adds to see when fresh customer interest rises, settles, or changes direction.
  2. Compare Wishlist Purchases and Customers Converted to see how interest is progressing beyond the save.
  3. Look for recurring peaks or sustained shifts rather than relying on one isolated point.
  4. Open the product reports to identify the items responsible for the movement you want to understand.
  5. Use the finding to refine product visibility, stock attention, campaigns, or the products you prioritise next.

4. Turn a trend into a practical follow-up

The trend chart is an excellent starting point for focused investigation. It helps you notice where customer intent is moving, then gives you a strong reason to explore the product-level insight behind it.

  • Pair an uplift in adds with Trending Wishlist Products to find the products driving new interest.
  • Pair sustained active demand with Most Wanted Products or Products Worth Attention to focus merchandising work.
  • Check Wishlist Demand - Out of Stock when interest remains present but availability could be limiting the next step.
  • Use the All Products report to compare the full demand and purchase story across a filtered product group.

Next steps

Use the product reports to identify the catalogue opportunities behind the movement you see.
