Wishlist Intelligence

Most Wanted Products

See which products customers are actively holding onto right now-then use that live demand signal to focus product visibility, stock attention, and merchandising energy where it can matter most.

A live shortlist of customer demand

Most Wanted Products ranks the products with the strongest current wishlist demand. In GoScript Advanced Wishlist WordPress Plugin for WooCommerce, it is built around the number of distinct customers who currently have each product saved-giving you a direct, customer-aware view of what shoppers want now.

1. How products are ranked

The report ranks eligible products by Current Wishlisters, from highest to lowest. This focuses the list on active demand instead of a historical total that may no longer reflect what customers care about today.

Current active demandA product appears when at least one customer currently has it saved in a wishlist.
Distinct customersOne customer counts once per product, even if they saved it in more than one list, keeping the ranking customer-aware.
Highest demand firstProducts with more Current Wishlisters appear higher in the report, making the strongest live interest easy to scan.
Useful performance contextEach row can also show selected-period Wishlist Purchases, Purchase Rate, and Attributed Revenue for a fuller product story.

2. What you can learn from the report

Most Wanted Products gives you a high-signal shortlist for understanding active demand. It helps you identify the products customers are choosing to remember, revisit, and potentially return to purchase.

  • Find products with the largest active customer audience right now.
  • Compare Current Wishlisters with selected-period purchases and revenue to understand the opportunity around a product.
  • Use product, category, or tag filters to focus on the collection or range you are planning.
  • Pair the report with availability to spot products that may need a closer stock or product-page review.

3. Turn a Most Wanted shortlist into action

Use the report as a practical starting point for prioritising the products customers are already signalling they care about.

  1. Open Reports → Most Wanted Products and choose a date range and any product, category, or tag filters that match your review.
  2. Start with the products carrying the most Current Wishlisters.
  3. Check their purchase activity, purchase rate, attributed revenue, and current stock context.
  4. Decide whether the product deserves stronger visibility, merchandising focus, inventory attention, or a closer investigation in the All Products report.
  5. Review the list regularly to keep decisions connected to live customer demand as it changes.

4. Combine active demand with other insights

Most Wanted Products tells you what customers want now. Combine it with the other Wishlist Intelligence reports to understand how that demand is changing and where it can create the strongest next opportunity.

  • Use Trending Wishlist Products to find interest that is growing fastest.
