Turn more signal into useful focus
As more customers save products, it becomes valuable to separate a meaningful pattern from a small amount of normal activity. GoScript Advanced Wishlist WordPress Plugin for WooCommerce gives you two thresholds that determine when products become eligible for its most actionable insight views.
1. The two analytics thresholds
Both controls live in the Analytics section of Advanced Wishlist settings, and each supports a different merchandising question.
2. Set your thresholds
Choose values that reflect the volume of wishlist activity your store receives today, then refine them as the dataset grows.
- In WordPress, open GoScript Advanced Wishlist → Settings.
- Find the Analytics section.
- Set Minimum Wishlist Adds for Trending Products.
- Set Minimum Current Wishlisters for Products Worth Attention.
- Select Save changes.
3. Choose thresholds for your store
The best threshold is high enough to filter out random noise while still letting promising signals become visible early enough to influence your merchandising decisions.
- For a newer or lower-volume store, begin with the defaults and avoid setting thresholds so high that useful early patterns never appear.
- For a high-volume catalogue, consider increasing thresholds to keep insight cards focused on the products with the clearest customer interest.
- Use a longer report period when you want to understand steadier demand across a broader window of activity.
- Use a shorter report period when you want to spot new momentum more quickly-then let thresholds guard against a single low-volume event looking bigger than it is.
- Review the results occasionally as customer saving behaviour grows and changes across your catalogue.
4. What thresholds do not change
Thresholds are a focus tool, not a filter on the underlying activity. The rest of Wishlist Intelligence continues to show the demand and purchase information available for the selected report period and scope.
- Wishlist Adds, removals, Current Wishlisters, purchases, and revenue continue to be calculated normally.
- Most Wanted Products continues to show current demand.
- Trending Products simply requires a product to meet your selected Wishlist Adds threshold before it appears in that focused view.
- Products Worth Attention requires meaningful current demand and a below-average purchase rate before it appears in that focused view.
- Changing a threshold helps you prioritise what to review; it does not alter historical customer wishlist activity.
