Wishlist Buttons & Placement

Adding wishlist buttons to product grids

Give browsing shoppers a quick, elegant way to save products they like-right from the catalogue cards where new ideas are being discovered.

Make saving easy while shoppers are browsing

Product grids are where shoppers compare, explore, and collect ideas. GoScript Advanced Wishlist for WooCommerce can add a compact wishlist control directly on each supported product card, so customers can keep a favourite in view without interrupting their browse.

1. Enable wishlist buttons in product grid listings

Open Advanced Wishlist → Settings, then use the Placement section to turn on the product-grid control. This setting applies to the standard WooCommerce product-loop placements supported by your theme.

  1. Enable Show in product grid listings.
  2. Choose the preferred Product grid listing position.
  3. Save your changes.
  4. Visit a shop, category, or related-products listing on the front end to confirm the button appears where expected.

2. Choose the corner that fits your product cards

The GoScript Advanced Wishlist WordPress Plugin for WooCommerce offers two focused positions, helping the icon stay consistently placed as shoppers move through your catalogue.

Top leftPlace the wishlist control in the upper-left corner of the product image.
Top rightPlace it in the upper-right corner for a familiar, unobtrusive save action.
Keep it consistentUse the same corner across catalogue, category, search, and related-product grids for a calmer browsing experience.

3. Test real catalogue journeys

After saving, check the control across the places customers actually discover products. A smooth grid experience gives shoppers more reasons to return to the ideas that caught their attention.

  • Check a main Shop or category page with several product cards.
  • Check any theme-created product loops, including related products or featured-product sections.
  • Test as a signed-in customer and confirm a saved product reaches My Wishlist.
  • Test as a signed-out visitor and confirm your configured login or registration guidance is clear.
  • Review the grid at smaller widths so the control remains easy to notice and tap.

With product-grid saving ready, refine placement or shape the visible button treatment to match your store.
