Where strong interest can become a better opportunity
Products Worth Attention identifies products with meaningful current wishlist demand and a Wishlist Purchase Rate below your store’s average for the selected period. In GoScript Advanced Wishlist WordPress Plugin for WooCommerce, it is designed to help you find customer interest that deserves a closer look-not simply products that are underperforming.
1. How products qualify for the report
The report looks for a combination of active customer demand and purchase progress that is below the selected store-wide baseline. A product must meet all of the following conditions to appear.
2. What the report is telling you
This report is a prioritisation tool. It surfaces products where shoppers are showing meaningful current interest and where a closer customer-experience or merchandising review could be especially valuable.
- Use Current Wishlisters to understand the active customer audience behind the product.
- Use Wishlist Adds to see the fresh interest created during the selected period.
- Compare the product’s Purchase Rate with the displayed Store Average to understand the purchase-progress context.
- Review Attributed Revenue alongside the other signals to see the qualified value already connected to the product.
3. Turn the shortlist into a focused review
Use the report to turn a broad opportunity into a concrete product-level action plan.
- Open Reports → Products Worth Attention and select the date range and filters that match the area you want to review.
- Start with the products showing both strong Current Wishlisters and a meaningful gap from the displayed Store Average.
- Review stock status, price, product content, variants, shipping context, and where the product is featured in your storefront.
- Compare the product with similar items or its category in the All Products report.
- Choose a thoughtful follow-up, then revisit the report over time to see how customer interest and purchase progress respond.
4. Keep the signal relevant to your store
The Minimum Current Wishlisters for Products Worth Attention setting controls how much active demand a product needs before it can be highlighted. This lets you tune the report to your store’s size and keep the shortlist focused on opportunities with enough customer interest to matter.
- Use a lower threshold when you want a smaller or newer store to surface emerging opportunities sooner.
- Use a higher threshold when a larger catalogue needs a more selective, high-signal shortlist.
- Review the threshold alongside your normal traffic and wishlist volume, then adjust it as your store grows.
- Use filters by product, category, or tag to make the same insight useful for a focused collection review.
