Creating a share link

Start with one list, stay in control

GoScript Advanced Wishlist for WooCommerce keeps every wishlist private until its owner decides otherwise. Creating a share link makes one chosen list available to the people a customer wants to include, while their other lists and account remain private.

1. Create the link from My Account

Customers create and copy a share link from the wishlist they already manage in their WooCommerce account.

1. Sign in and open My Account → Wishlists.
2. Select the wishlist to share.
3. Find the Share this wishlist area in the list header.
4. Select Enable sharing.
5. When the share link appears, select Copy link.

2. Share with confidence

Once sharing is enabled, customers can paste their link wherever it is useful-from a message to friends and family to a saved plan for a future purchase. Recipients open the configured Shared Wishlist Page in your own WordPress storefront.

Copy in one clickThe dedicated Copy link control puts the secure URL on the customer’s clipboard, ready to send.

One secure destinationThe link points to one specific wishlist and opens through the store’s configured shared-list page.

Check the recipient viewOpen the copied URL in a private browser window to preview exactly what someone receiving the link can see.

Ready to revisit and buyEligible, purchasable products can remain actionable on the shared page, helping interest stay close to the Cart.

3. A quick check before sending

A short review keeps the experience polished for the people receiving the wishlist.

• Make sure the intended list, not another personal list, is selected.
• Confirm sharing has been enabled and the link is visible in the Share this wishlist area.
• Open the link once to confirm your Shared Wishlist Page is configured and loading as expected.
• Review the list name and saved products so the shared collection feels ready to send.
• Copy the link again whenever needed; the same active link remains available until the customer changes it.
