From saved idea to Cart
A wishlist helps customers remember products that matter. GoScript Advanced Wishlist for WooCommerce makes the next step just as natural: when a saved product is purchasable and in stock, customers can use its add-to-Cart action to return directly to WooCommerce’s familiar buying flow.
1. Add a saved product to the Cart
The customer action stays close to the product inside the wishlist, reducing the distance between remembering an item and deciding to purchase it.
- Sign in and open My Account → Wishlists.
- Open the list containing the product.
- Review the saved item, its current product information, and any variation details.
- Select the available Add to Cart action.
- Continue in the WooCommerce Cart with the product added to the purchase flow.
2. How the action handles product types
The GoScript Advanced Wishlist WordPress Plugin for WooCommerce uses the saved product selection to make the Cart handoff as relevant as possible.
3. Test the return journey
A well-tested wishlist-to-Cart path turns returning interest into a smooth customer experience and gives shoppers an easy reason to come back to products they saved.
- Save a simple in-stock product, then add it to the Cart from the customer wishlist.
- Save a selected variation, then confirm the Cart contains that exact variation and its attributes.
- Test a product that is out of stock or not purchasable and confirm it displays Currently unavailable.
- Review the Cart link on desktop and mobile widths.
- Confirm the customer can keep the saved item in their wishlist even after adding it to the Cart.
