A public view for one chosen list
When a customer enables sharing, GoScript Advanced Wishlist WordPress Plugin for WooCommerce publishes only that selected wishlist through your configured Shared Wishlist Page. The visitor experience stays focused on a collection of products-not the owner’s account, their other lists, or the ways they organise their shopping.
1. What a visitor can see
A valid share link opens a public wishlist page with the information needed to browse the products confidently.
2. What stays private
Sharing a wishlist never turns it into an account-management area. The owner keeps control of the list, while visitors receive only the product collection and the public storefront context around it.
- Visitors cannot edit the list, rename it, move products, or change its sharing state.
- Private notes added by the owner are never shown on the shared page.
- Saved-price baselines are kept private; visitors see the product’s current WooCommerce price instead.
- Other wishlists, account information, and personal customer details are not exposed through the link.
- Wishlist Intelligence and merchant reporting remain inside the WordPress admin-not on the shared page.
3. Product availability on shared lists
Shared wishlists stay connected to your live WooCommerce catalogue. That means the recipient view reflects what the store can offer at the time they visit-not a static snapshot from the day the list was created.
- Published products display with their current WooCommerce details.
- Products that are purchasable and in stock can offer an Add to Cart action.
- If a saved product is no longer published or available, the shared page shows that it is not currently available instead of exposing stale product details.
- The list owner can update their saved products and share a refreshed collection at any time.
