Why use your theme’s button styling?
Your WooCommerce theme already establishes a visual rhythm for actions such as Add to Cart. Enabling theme button styling lets GoScript Advanced Wishlist for WooCommerce join that rhythm, helping the wishlist control feel instantly familiar while still giving customers a purposeful save-for-later action.
1. Enable theme button styling
The setting is available alongside the plugin’s own Button style controls, so you can choose the approach that best supports your current design system.
- Open Advanced Wishlist → Settings.
- Find the Button style section.
- Enable Use theme button styling.
- Save your changes.
- Review the wishlist button on a single product page and a product grid.
2. Choose the right styling approach
Both approaches are valuable. The best choice is the one that makes the button feel clear, consistent, and comfortably at home in your customer’s shopping flow.
3. Check the places customers actually shop
Theme styles can vary across product templates and catalogue cards. A quick review lets you preserve the visual payoff while making sure the wishlist action remains practical everywhere it appears.
- Review single products, product grids, and any custom product-loop sections.
- Check normal, hover, and already-saved states.
- Confirm button text and the selected icon remain readable against theme colours.
- Check small-screen layouts, especially tightly packed product cards.
- If a theme treatment does not suit the wishlist control, turn off theme styling and return to the plugin’s focused Button style controls.
