Wishlist button placement options

A placement for every shopping moment

GoScript Advanced Wishlist for WooCommerce keeps its placement controls focused and useful. You can enable the button where WooCommerce shoppers naturally make decisions, then use the same clear save action to connect product discovery with a customer’s account-based wishlist.

1. Single product page positions

Single-product placement is enabled by default, with After Add to Cart selected as the starting position. Choose a position that complements your purchase controls and gives customers a comfortable save-for-later alternative.

2. Product grid positions

Enable Show in product grid listings to give browsing customers an instant save action on supported WooCommerce product cards. The grid control is designed to sit neatly over the product image rather than crowding card content.

1. Enable Show in product grid listings.
2. Choose Top left or Top right.
3. Save the placement settings.
4. Check your Shop, category, search, and related-product views to make sure the chosen corner stays consistent.

3. When manual placement is the better choice

Automatic placement is ideal for standard WooCommerce layouts. Choose Custom/manual only for a highly tailored product template, a builder layout that does not expose the standard WooCommerce hooks, or a page where the save control needs a deliberately different location.

• Use the Wishlist Button block in a supported Site Editor layout.
• Use [goscript_wishlist_button] in a classic template or a shortcode-capable page area.
• For theme development, use goscript_wishlist_button() where you need the control to render.
• Keep the action close to product context, so shoppers always know which product they are saving.
