Core store requirements

GoScript Advanced Wishlist WordPress Plugin for WooCommerce is designed for current WooCommerce stores. Confirm the following essentials before you install or begin customer testing:

• WordPress 6.5 or later
• PHP 7.4 or later
• WooCommerce 10.2 or later, installed and active
• WooCommerce customer accounts, so saved products remain connected to the shopper when they return

Account-based by design

Advanced Wishlist is purposefully built around registered WooCommerce customers rather than temporary browser-based lists. When a shopper signs in, their saved products, selected variations, private notes, priorities, and lists remain available whenever they return.

Signed-out visitors are not given guest wishlists. Instead, the plugin can guide them to the login or registration pages you select in its settings, helping you keep the save-for-later experience connected to a real customer account from the start.

Product-page and grid compatibility

The plugin supports the classic WooCommerce product hooks used by many themes and WooCommerce block product contexts. You can enable wishlist controls automatically on supported single-product pages and product grids, then refine their placement from the Advanced Wishlist settings.

Where automatic placement is not the right fit for a custom layout, the GoScript Advanced Wishlist for WooCommerce plugin also provides manual shortcode and block options. That gives your store a straightforward path to keep the wishlist action close to the buying journey without forcing an off-brand layout.

Shared wishlist page and routing

Public shared lists use a configurable published WordPress Page as their intentional base context. On activation, the plugin creates a default Wishlist page with the [goscript_shared_wishlist] shortcode and uses the wishlist URL base by default.

You can choose another published Page or adjust the base later. If you change the base, the plugin refreshes its WordPress rewrite rule so secure, non-guessable share links continue to resolve through the page and theme context you chose.
