Make saving feel like a natural next step
Single product pages are where shopper interest is most specific. GoScript Advanced Wishlist for WooCommerce can place its save control directly in the familiar product purchase area, giving customers a simple alternative when they want to remember an item without buying it immediately.
1. Enable the single product button
Open Advanced Wishlist → Settings, then start in the Placement section. The single-product controls let you decide whether the automatic button is active and where it should sit in a supported classic WooCommerce product layout.
- Make sure Show on single products is enabled.
- Choose a Single product position.
- Save your changes.
- Open a live product page as a shopper and confirm the save control feels balanced beside the rest of the product information.
2. Choose the right position for your buying flow
The plugin offers three automatic placements for supported single-product templates, plus a custom mode when your design calls for a more deliberate layout.
3. Test the customer state, not just the layout
Check the product page while signed in as a customer and confirm that selecting the button saves the product to My Wishlist. Then check the same page while signed out. Because Advanced Wishlist is account-based, visitors are guided toward your configured login or registration path instead of receiving a temporary guest list.
- Confirm the button remains clear on desktop and mobile widths.
- Confirm the saved state is understandable when the customer returns to the same product.
- For a variable product, choose an option before saving and confirm the selected variation is retained.
- If the automatic position does not exist in a custom template, switch to Custom/manual only rather than forcing an awkward placement.
