When a trial expires

When an active trial reaches its expiry time, wishlist functionality pauses until you activate a valid paid license. The License page stays available, so you have a direct route to reactivate the plugin when you are ready to continue.

• Wishlist controls, customer lists, sharing, and Wishlist Intelligence pause while the trial is expired.
• Your existing settings, saved wishlist data, and stored reporting data are preserved.
• Activate a valid paid license from Advanced Wishlist → License to restore the complete experience.
• Once activation succeeds, the relevant plugin areas become available again immediately.

What happens when a paid license expires

A paid license is designed to protect continuity for an already activated store. If it expires, Advanced Wishlist continues working on that activated site, so customers can keep using the wishlist experience you have established.

• Customer wishlists, sharing, wishlist controls, and existing functionality continue on the activated site.
• New downloads, future versions, and support are unavailable until you renew.
• Renewing restores those renewal benefits without requiring you to rebuild your wishlist setup.

Activate, replace, or renew with confidence

The License screen handles a new activation, a replacement key, and recovery after an expired trial or revoked license. Use the action shown for your current state and confirm that the page reports an active license with plugin functionality enabled.

1. Open Advanced Wishlist → License in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Review the visible license state and expiry information.
3. Paste the valid key from your GoScript account or purchase email into the available field.
4. Select Activate license or Activate new license.
5. Confirm the active state and enabled functionality message before returning to Settings or Wishlist Intelligence.

Temporary verification and revoked licenses

A temporary connection issue with the licensing service does not automatically discard a valid saved license state. The plugin keeps that state in use and retries verification. A revoked license is different: wishlist functionality is disabled until a valid license is activated again.

• Use Retry verification after confirming that your store can make outbound HTTPS connections.
• Use a new valid key to recover from a revoked state.
• Use Deactivate license only when you intentionally want to release the activation for another site.
• Deactivating the WordPress plugin itself does not release a GoScript license activation.
