Troubleshooting

WooCommerce Analytics is unavailable

Restore the order-data foundation behind global Cart recommendations, then bring your WooCommerce purchase history back into the recommendation strategy.

WooCommerce Analytics gives global recommendations their purchase-history foundation

The GoScript Smart Cart Recommendations WordPress plugin uses WooCommerce Analytics lookup data for global, history-based Cart recommendations. That lets the plugin examine qualifying orders and identify products customers have bought together, turning your store’s own purchase patterns into useful Cart discovery opportunities.

When Analytics is unavailable, the plugin cannot use that historical source for global recommendations or their product-level preview. The Settings page surfaces this status so you can confirm the data foundation before spending time refining history rules.

Confirm the required Analytics tables are ready

Global recommendation logic needs WooCommerce Analytics and the required lookup tables: wc_order_product_lookup and wc_order_stats. These tables provide the order and product relationship data the plugin queries for qualifying co-purchase evidence.

Order product lookupwc_order_product_lookup provides the product-level order context needed for shared-purchase analysis.
Order statisticswc_order_stats provides the order data used alongside your selected history and status rules.

Use the status panel to guide your next step

  1. Open Smart Cart Recommendations → Settings.
  2. Review the WooCommerce Analytics status panel and note whether Analytics and the required lookup tables are ready.
  3. Confirm WooCommerce itself is active and its Analytics data is available for the store.
  4. After WooCommerce Analytics is ready, save or refresh Settings and test a representative Cart again.

If the status remains unavailable, use your store’s WooCommerce administration and hosting support process to investigate the Analytics setup and the required lookup tables. The status panel gives you the exact dependency to check.

Keep the Cart strategy useful while Analytics is restored

Analytics readiness affects global history-based recommendations and their preview. Per-product manual recommendations and fallback behaviour are separate recommendation paths, so they can help you maintain a useful Cart discovery experience while the historical source is being prepared.

Verify global recommendations after Analytics returns

Once the status panel confirms readiness, review the order-history window, included order statuses, minimum shared-order threshold, matching rule, and exclusions. These controls shape the qualifying evidence the restored data source can use.

Then add representative products to the main Cart and review the recommendation section. A fresh, deliberate test gives you the best view of how your own purchase history is now contributing to Cart discovery.

Bring your own purchase patterns back to work

WooCommerce Analytics availability is not merely a technical check-it is the foundation that allows global smart recommendations to learn from the relationships already emerging in your store. Once ready, it gives the GoScript Smart Cart Recommendations WordPress plugin the data it needs to make your Cart strategy more informed over time.
