Start with a solid Cart foundation
Before installing the GoScript Smart Cart Recommendations WordPress plugin, confirm your store is running WordPress 6.5 or later, PHP 7.4 or later, WooCommerce 8.2 or later, and an active WooCommerce installation.
1. Add Smart Cart Recommendations to WordPress
Install the package through WordPress, then activate it to add the Smart Cart Recommendations administration area to your store.
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New.
- Select Upload Plugin and choose the GoScript Smart Cart Recommendations
.zippackage. - Select Install Now, then Activate.
- After activation, open the new Smart Cart Recommendations admin menu.
2. Confirm the plugin is ready for setup
After activation, the plugin adds its own administrative area for Settings, Reports, Documentation, and License. This gives you one focused place to configure Cart placement, recommendation logic, product-level controls, and local reporting.

The plugin is now installed. Open Smart Cart Recommendations → License when you are ready to start a trial or activate a valid paid license. A valid active license unlocks the commercial runtime and normal plugin administration.
