Reports overview

See how Cart recommendations are earning attention and contributing to plugin-defined attributed orders and revenue-right inside your WordPress dashboard.

Turn Cart activity into useful merchandising insight

The GoScript Smart Cart Recommendations WordPress plugin includes a focused reporting workspace for the Cart recommendations you display. It brings engagement, attributed purchase activity, and product-level performance into one practical view, so you can see where your recommendation strategy is gaining traction.

Reports are stored and processed locally in your WordPress and WooCommerce installation. That means you can review recommendation performance without exporting your customer behaviour to a separate analytics platform.

Start with the four core signals

The Reports page presents KPI totals for the period you select: clicks, attributed orders, conversion rate, and attributed revenue. Together, these give you a clear starting point for understanding both engagement and the purchase activity that follows a qualifying recommendation click.

ClicksSee when shoppers interact with a displayed recommendation through its image, title, or Add to Cart link.
Orders, conversion & revenueConnect valid recommendation interactions with the plugin’s defined click-to-purchase attribution view.

Conversion rate is calculated in the plugin as attributed orders divided by recorded clicks. It is a useful performance signal for your Cart strategy, not a claim of wider marketing causality.

Choose a time frame that tells a useful story

Use the 7-day, 30-day, or 90-day reporting views to match the question you are asking. A shorter view can help you review a recent placement or catalogue change; a longer one helps reveal patterns across more shopper activity.

Choose one time frame, make a purposeful adjustment, then compare a later period under similar conditions. That makes it easier to learn which recommendation decisions are building stronger Cart discovery over time.

Find the recommendations earning the most value

The top-performing recommendation view highlights up to five recommended products ranked by attributed revenue. Each entry includes product context along with clicks, attributed orders, conversion rate, and attributed revenue, helping you spot the product pairings worth understanding and extending.

Use the category or tag filter in this view to focus the review on a product area that matters to your current merchandising priorities.

Move from the headline to product-level detail

Below the summary, sortable detailed results give you a deeper look at recommended products. Search by a recommended product name or numeric product ID, sort the relevant columns, and move through paginated results when you want to explore the broader catalogue picture.

Keep the insight easy to share

Export the selected report to CSV when you want to compare periods, discuss performance with your team, or work with product-level data outside the WordPress screen. The export includes the recommended product name and ID, clicks, attributed orders, conversion rate, and attributed revenue.

The WordPress Dashboard widget also keeps the last 30 days visible at a glance, so your strongest Cart recommendation signals are never far from the place where you run your store.

Use reports to refine, not just observe

The strongest use of reporting is an ongoing loop: publish a clear Cart recommendation strategy, watch the engagement signals, identify useful product relationships, and refine the settings that shape them. As your WooCommerce order history and shopper activity grow, your reports give you more evidence to guide those decisions.
