What recommendation rules control
Recommendation rules determine the order history the plugin can use, how much shared-order evidence a relationship needs, how many products to return, and what happens when smart candidates are limited.
Use real order history with confidence
Choose the history period, qualifying order statuses, minimum shared orders, and optional category or tag matching rule. Together, these decide which customer purchases count and how selective the relationship needs to be.
Number of products and fallback
Set the number of products WooCommerce should receive, then choose a fallback for limited smart results: show nothing, retain WooCommerce defaults, or use relevant best sellers or newest products.
- Use broader rules and a fallback when order history is still developing.
- Use more selective history and thresholds when your catalogue has a strong multi-product order record.
- Review recommendations and reports before making dramatic rule changes.
