Choose a product-level mode
Open a product editor and select the Smart Related Products Product data tab. The product’s selected mode determines how that source product is handled.
Use global Smart Related ProductsApply the global recommendation and fallback rules.
Disable related productsDo not return related products for this source product.
Use WooCommerce defaultsKeep WooCommerce’s normal related-product selection for this product.
Use manually selected productsChoose an exact list through WooCommerce’s product search selector.
When to use an exception
Use product-level controls for strategic pairings, a product without enough order history, a product that should never show related products, or any page that needs a different experience from the global rule set.
Review the saved preview
The product editor shows the current saved recommendation set with product thumbnails, links, selection source, shared-order counts or fallback/manual source, and a last-30-days summary for the current source product.
