Start with a clear license status

Open Smart Related Products → License to see the current license type, plugin functionality state, and expiry information. The License page is the best starting point whether you are beginning a trial, activating a paid license, replacing a key, or checking a verification result.

Activate or replace a license with confidence

Enter the license key from your GoScript account or purchase email, then select Activate License. You can use the same page to replace an existing key when your store needs a new activation.

Clear functionality stateUse the status on the License page to confirm when Smart Related Products is active and ready to use.

Use retry verification when the state needs a refresh

If the License page indicates that verification needs attention, use Retry verification to ask the plugin to check the current activation state again. This is a useful first step after a temporary connection or verification issue has been resolved.

1. Open the License page and review the visible status message.
2. Confirm the current key is the one you expect to use for this store.
3. Select Retry verification.
4. Review the refreshed license type, functionality state, and expiry details.

Manage an activation deliberately

Use the explicit Deactivate License action when you need to release an activation. Deactivating the WordPress plugin alone does not automatically release the GoScript license activation, so the License page keeps that decision clear and under your control.

If a trial expires, the Smart Related Products runtime stops until a valid paid license is activated; existing settings and reports remain in place. If a paid license expires, the existing activated site continues working, while new downloads, future versions, and support are unavailable until renewal.
