Troubleshooting & FAQ

Customer Portal troubleshooting

Get back to managing your GoScript WordPress Plugin for WooCommerce with practical checks for the most common Customer Portal account, license, download, activation, and trial questions.

Start with My Plugins

For most questions, My Plugins is the fastest place to begin. It brings together the status, expiry date, key disclosure, download availability, activation usage, and next actions for every GoScript WooCommerce plugin license connected to your account.

My purchase is not visible yet

After a successful checkout, allow a short moment, then sign in to the Customer Portal using the email address used at checkout. Open My Plugins to look for the new paid license. If you purchased before creating an account, use the account-setup instructions sent to that checkout email, or use Account recovery if you need fresh setup guidance.

  • Check that you are signed in with the checkout email.
  • Refresh My Plugins after allowing a short moment for the license to appear.
  • Check your email inbox and spam folder for account-setup instructions if this was your first purchase.
  • Use Account recovery if you still need help accessing the account connected to the purchase.

I did not receive an account-setup or password-recovery email

Start by checking spam, promotions, and any mailbox filters for the email address you used. Then return to Account recovery and submit that same email address to request a fresh account-access message. A new recovery or setup message replaces an earlier unused one, so always use the newest email you receive.

Download is unavailable

Download appears on a My Plugins card when the license has current download access. Active paid licenses and active trials can download the current release. If Download is not shown, check the exact license status and expiry date shown on that card.

Check the account and productConfirm that you are signed in to the account that owns the exact GoScript WordPress Plugin for WooCommerce license.
Check the license termAn expired paid license and an expired trial do not provide a new download. Renew an eligible paid license when you are ready.
Check the action on that cardUse the matching My Plugins card to see Download, Renew, or Buy License when each action applies.

My activation limit is reached

My Plugins shows site-seat usage as a count such as 1/1 or 2/3. When the first number reaches the second, all site seats for that license are in use. To move the license, deactivate it from the matching GoScript plugin’s License screen on a currently active WordPress site, then activate the key on the replacement site.

If you are adding another WooCommerce site rather than replacing one, use a license with an available site seat or choose an additional license that suits your plans.

A trial is unavailable

Trials are offered only for eligible products and are limited to one trial per product. If My Plugins shows that the trial has already been used or is no longer available, the paid license path remains available when you are ready to continue with that GoScript WooCommerce plugin.

  • Check that you are signed in to the intended GoScript account.
  • Review the product’s trial status and the license cards shown in My Plugins.
  • Use Buy License when the product is the right fit for your WordPress and WooCommerce store.

My license or trial has expired

An expired paid license can keep an existing valid WordPress activation running, but new downloads and new activations wait until renewal. An expired trial does not provide downloads, new activations, or licensed plugin runtime. My Plugins shows the status and the next appropriate action for each license.

I used a different email at checkout

A new purchase is connected to the email used at checkout. If you cannot find the expected license in your usual Customer Portal account, try signing in or using Account recovery with the checkout email. Keeping future purchases on the same account email helps keep your GoScript WooCommerce plugin licenses together in one My Plugins workspace.

When to contact support

Contact GoScript support when the account, product, and license status in My Plugins do not match what you expect after following the checks above. Include the product name, the email address you used to access the Customer Portal, and a short description of what you see. Do not share your full license key in a support message.
