Make every price-drop decision more informed
The reporting metrics in GoScript Price Drop Alerts for WooCommerce turn everyday customer interest into a clear, practical signal. They show how many shoppers are watching, whether your alerts are reaching them, and what happened after those emails were accepted.
Use the figures together. A single metric can point you toward a question; the full picture helps you decide where pricing, promotion, and merchandising attention will have the strongest impact.
Where the metrics appear
Open Price Drop Alerts → Reports. The Your Price-Drop Performance summary appears near the top of the reports workspace and follows the period and product, category, or tag filters you choose.
Select Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or Last 90 days before interpreting activity-based metrics. The current-demand metric is different: it reflects customers actively watching now, not just activity inside the selected period.
New Price Watches
New Price Watches is the number of price watches created during the selected reporting period. It records watch creation events, so one customer can contribute more than one new watch when they begin watching multiple products or exact variations.
This is your strongest early signal of fresh price-sensitive demand. A rise can reveal products shoppers want but are not ready to buy at the current price. Compare it with the activity trend and rising-demand insights to distinguish a sustained opportunity from a short-lived spike.
Active Price Watchers
Active Price Watchers counts distinct registered customers who have at least one active price watch in the current report scope. It is a live demand measure, not a count of watches created during the selected period.
Because a customer may watch more than one product, the same person can appear in more than one product-level view. Store-wide, the number is deduplicated so you can understand how many people are currently waiting for a better price across your catalog.
Price-Drop Emails Sent and Customers Reached
Price-Drop Emails Sent counts alert deliveries accepted from your store during the selected period. It reflects the delivery records the plugin has accepted, rather than merely a price drop that is waiting for processing.
Customers Reached counts the unique registered customers who received an accepted price-drop email in that same period. It gives you a people-focused complement to the delivery total: one customer may receive more than one alert email, but is counted once in Customers Reached.
If a price drop is still processing, use the email-status panel above the reports to see remaining deliveries. That context stops you from judging a campaign before all eligible alerts have had a chance to be handled.
Sales After Price-Drop Emails
Sales After Price-Drop Emails counts purchases that match the plugin’s post-email attribution rules. A registered customer must purchase the same exact WooCommerce product or variation after an accepted alert email and within the configured attribution window.
This metric is deliberately specific. It gives you a defensible view of purchases that followed an alert for the same item, while avoiding the overreach of crediting unrelated orders to a price-drop email.
Email-to-Sale Conversion
Email-to-Sale Conversion shows the share of accepted price-drop emails that later led to an attributed purchase. The plugin calculates it as qualifying converted email deliveries divided by accepted price-drop emails, then displays the result as a percentage.
When there are no accepted alert emails in the selected view, conversion is shown as a dash rather than a misleading zero. Use this metric alongside sales volume: a high conversion on a small number of emails can be encouraging, while a large number of sales may still matter even with a lower percentage.
Revenue From Price-Drop Emails
Revenue From Price-Drop Emails is the attributed net revenue from qualifying purchases after price-drop emails. The report uses your store’s active WooCommerce currency when it totals this amount.
Revenue Per Price-Drop Email divides attributed revenue by the number of accepted price-drop emails. It helps you compare the value generated per delivered alert across reporting periods or scoped product groups.
The attribution system reconciles relevant paid-order changes and refunds, so revenue and purchase figures can adjust as order data changes. This keeps the report aligned with the current state of qualifying orders rather than freezing an early, incomplete value.
Read the metrics together, not in isolation
- High new watches + high active watchers: demand is building and customers are still waiting for the right price.
- High emails sent + low sales after email: review the depth and timing of the drop, target-price expectations, and the product’s wider offer.
- Strong conversion + strong revenue per email: the alert is reaching a receptive audience and producing valuable post-email results.
- Strong watches + few emails: the product may be carrying clear demand but has not yet reached enough customers’ saved notification prices.
These are useful prompts, not automatic verdicts. Pair them with your product margin, stock position, pricing strategy, and broader marketing performance before changing a price.
Use attribution with the right confidence
GoScript Price Drop Alerts WordPress Plugin for WooCommerce measures the purchase activity that follows alerts; it does not claim an email was the sole cause of a sale. Customers may encounter your store through other channels, and the report is designed to show a clear post-email relationship for the same exact item.
That balance gives you a report you can trust for operational decisions. It shows where price-sensitive intent is real, where alerts are working, and where there is room to refine your next move.
