Waitlists that respect customer choice
Variable-product shoppers choose every required option before the Back in Stock control evaluates the item. A waitlist is then created for the exact matching variation, not the entire parent product.
When a variation is back in stock
- WooCommerce updates the exact variation to in stock.
- The variation meets the minimum stock threshold when managed quantity is in use.
- GoScript Back in Stock prepares notifications for customers waiting for that variation.
- Availability is checked again before each message is sent.
Each variation follows its own stock state
One size can be in stock while another is out of stock. Shoppers can buy the available option normally and join a waitlist for the out-of-stock option. Variations that allow backorders remain purchasable and do not need a new waitlist.
Detailed demand with a useful parent view
Exact variation rows reveal which options customers want, while parent-product reporting deduplicates customers across variations for a clean overall demand total. Together, these views make restocking decisions both precise and easy to prioritize.
