Make the return to your store feel worth it
A back-in-stock email has one clear job: remind a customer that the product they wanted is ready to buy and make the next action effortless. GoScript Back in Stock for WooCommerce gives you focused controls to make this message sound like your store and lead naturally back to the product page.
Open Back in Stock → Settings and find the Email section to shape the customer-facing message.
What you can customize
- Subject: the inbox line that tells a customer their product is back in stock.
- Heading: the opening headline inside the email.
- Body: the main message that confirms the restock, builds momentum, and gives useful context.
- Link label: the call to action that takes the customer back to the product page.
The product link is handled for you, so your call to action always directs the customer to the relevant product or selected variation.
Write a high-confidence restock email
Lead with the product being back in stock, keep the message focused, and give the customer one obvious next step. A concise message often performs best because it respects the customer’s original interest and removes friction from returning to buy.
- Subject example: “{product_name} is back in stock at {store_name}”
- Heading example: “Your wait is over”
- Call-to-action example: “Shop now” or “View product”
You can use the available product and customer placeholders to make the message feel personal and accurate. The next guide explains every supported placeholder and the formatting options for the email body.
Keep the email clean and readable
The email body supports simple formatting such as paragraphs, emphasis, and lists. Use that structure to make key details easy to scan, especially on mobile.
Keep the message centered on the product, its current availability, and the action to return. Avoid adding unrelated promotions or overly long explanations that distract from the restock moment.
